Important Update About Our Banking Systems

Important Update Regarding September Account Activity
CAMC Federal Credit Union has now received the remaining debit card transaction information from our core services provider for activity that occurred during the outage period earlier this month. We also received the reports necessary to complete the manual review and processing required to ensure all account activity for September is fully reflected on member statements.
As of September 28, 2026, all services have been restored, and CAMC FCU is operating normally. While additional reconciliation and recovery efforts will continue through the remainder of the month, members can once again access and use all of our services as usual.
Due to the Sharetec outage, you may notice that some transactions on your September statement appear out of sequence or in an order that does not match when they originally occurred. This is the result of delays in receiving transaction information from our core processor. In some cases, ACH and debit card transactions had to be retransmitted, and certain transactions that are normally processed automatically had to be manually reposted by our staff to ensure completeness.
Please take a few moments to carefully review your September statement. If you believe a transaction is missing, incorrect, or requires clarification, please contact us as soon as possible. Our team is committed to promptly researching any concerns and ensuring your account records are complete and up to date.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued trust throughout this disruption. Our staff remains dedicated to serving you and ensuring the integrity of your accounts.

CAMC Federal Credit Union continues to work closely with our core services provider to ensure all member transactions are accurately processed and posted. While significant progress has been made, some transactions still require manual review and processing to ensure accuracy, which takes additional time to complete.
Although all debit card transaction files have not yet been fully restored, we do not want to delay access to your accounts any longer. Online Banking and Mobile Banking services are now restored.
When you log in for the first time, you may notice that some transactions have not yet appeared on your account or that transactions are listed in an order that does not match when they occurred. As we continue processing and posting account activity, transactions may appear out of sequence. This does not necessarily mean a transaction is missing. In many cases, it simply means the transaction is still being processed and will be reflected on your account as posting is completed.
If, after reviewing your account, you believe a transaction is missing or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible. Our team will promptly research the issue and work to resolve it.
We understand this has been a challenging situation, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued trust. Please know that we remain committed to restoring all account activity and services to normal operation as quickly and accurately as possible.
Thank you for your patience and for being a valued member of CAMC Federal Credit Union.

CAMC FCU has received the 6 ACH files now. We are just waiting on the debit card transaction files and then Online Banking and Mobile Banking will be restored. Keep checking back here for updates.

CAMC Federal Credit Union regained full access to our core banking system on Saturday afternoon, September 19, 2026. Our team dedicated significant time and effort throughout the weekend to process and post transactions that accumulated during the service interruption.
As of today, September 21, 2026, we are operational, with the majority of transactions posted and member services restored. However, Online Banking and Mobile Banking have not yet been restored as we complete the final stages of recovery and reconciliation work.
During the outage, CAMC Federal Credit Union did not receive six ACH files from the Federal Reserve and approximately two days' worth of debit card transaction files. We are actively working with both the Federal Reserve and our debit card processor to have those files resent to our core banking system as quickly as possible.
Once the missing files are received, posted, and fully reconciled, we will be able to restore Online Banking and Mobile Banking services. We are committed to ensuring all transactions are visible and reflected in member accounts and will continue to provide updates as additional information becomes available.
In the meantime, members may call or visit our office for assistance with balance inquiries, account activity reviews, or transaction history requests.
As our system provider continues to process and post transactions, you may notice that some recent transactions have not yet appeared on your account or that transactions are displayed in an order that does not match when they occurred. Transaction activity may temporarily appear out of sequence while processing is completed.
This does not necessarily mean that a transaction is missing. In many cases, it is still being processed and will be reflected in your account once posting is complete. Thank you for your patience and continued support as we complete the final stages of system recovery.

We recognize that some members may have noticed payroll deposits, account balances, or transaction information that had not yet fully updated when online banking inadvertently became available yesterday. While we understand this can be concerning, please be assured that your funds are safe and secure. These temporary discrepancies are part of the system restoration and data synchronization process and do not indicate any loss of funds. As processing continues and systems return to normal operation, account information will be updated and reflected as expected. We are working closely with our service providers to ensure all information is reconciled as quickly as possible and appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

CAMC Federal Credit Union received limited access to our core banking system late Friday evening, September 18, 2026. Since that time, our team has been working extended hours throughout the weekend to process and post transactions that accumulated during the service interruption.
We anticipate being substantially operational by Monday morning, September 21, 2026, with the majority of transactions posted and member services restored. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued trust in CAMC Federal Credit Union as we continue working toward full system restoration.

Dear CAMC FCU Members,
We have been assured by our core banking service provider, Sharetec that our system will be restored sometime today (Friday, 9/18/26); however, we still do not have a restoration timeframe for online/mobile banking. In the meantime, you can call the Credit Union to confirm deposits and use your debit card normally. Your money is safe and you can come withdraw cash at any point today.
CAMC FCU is committed to working with each member on a case-by-case basis to address urgent financial needs, including access to funds, loan payments, and other time-sensitive transactions.
We again want to thank you for your patience and understanding during the interruption of credit union services.

Important Update Regarding Recent Service Disruptions
Dear CAMC Federal Credit Union Members,
We want to personally thank you for your patience and understanding during the recent interruption of several credit union services.
Beginning on September 15, our core banking service provider, Sharetec, experienced a significant outage caused by a failure of cooling equipment at a third-party data center that hosts its systems. The resulting equipment failure affected credit unions across the country that rely on Sharetec's hosted services, including CAMC Federal Credit Union.
This disruption impacted services such as online banking, mobile banking, debit card processing, and other systems that support member account access.
Most importantly, we want to reassure our members that:
This was not a cybersecurity incident.
There has been no data breach or unauthorized access to member information.
Member funds remain secure.
Account records and transaction data remain intact.
According to Sharetec, the outage resulted from physical infrastructure failures at its data center and not from ransomware, hacking, or any other malicious activity. Recovery efforts focused on restoring systems while ensuring the complete integrity and accuracy of member account information.
Throughout this event, CAMC Federal Credit Union staff worked diligently to assist members, provide updates, and maintain operations to the greatest extent possible. We recognize the inconvenience this disruption created and understand how important reliable access to your accounts is.
As services continue to stabilize, we are closely monitoring updates from Sharetec and reviewing the incident with our vendor partners. Sharetec has advised that it will provide a comprehensive root-cause analysis and corrective action plan once its investigation has been completed.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, management team, and employees, thank you for your patience, trust, and continued membership. We remain committed to safeguarding your accounts and delivering the reliable service you expect from CAMC Federal Credit Union.
If you have questions or need assistance, please contact us directly.
Sincerely,
CAMC Federal Credit Union

Dear Valued Member,
We want to share an update regarding the service interruption that has affected some of our banking systems.
First and most importantly, your money is safe and your personal information remains secure. The issue is not related to a cyberattack, fraud event, or data breach.
We know many of you rely on us every day to access your accounts, receive direct deposits, pay bills, and manage your finances. We understand how frustrating and concerning this situation is, and we want you to know that we are working closely with our core processing provider, Sharetec, to restore services as quickly and safely as possible.
What Happened?
Our core banking provider experienced a significant infrastructure failure at the data center that hosts their systems. The issue was caused by equipment damage following a cooling system failure at the facility.
While this has affected the availability of certain services, the recovery effort is focused on preserving the accuracy and integrity of member account information. In other words, the priority is making sure your account information is correct when systems are restored.
Where Things Stand Today
We received encouraging news this morning from Sharetec.
Their teams worked throughout the night and have now moved from preparation into active restoration. Core banking systems are being restored, additional infrastructure has been brought online, and recovery efforts are progressing.
Restoration will occur in phases, with systems being carefully brought back online and validated before service is restored. While progress is being made, Sharetec has advised that recovery efforts will continue throughout the day and that they do not yet have a confirmed timeframe for full restoration.
Questions You May Have
Is my money safe?
Yes.
There is no indication that member funds have been lost or compromised. The recovery efforts underway are specifically designed to protect the accuracy of account information and transactions.
Has CAMC FCU been hacked?
No.
This is not a cybersecurity incident. According to Sharetec, the disruption was caused by a data center infrastructure failure and not by unauthorized access to systems or member data.
Is my personal information secure?
Yes.
Sharetec has confirmed there has been no data breach and no unauthorized access to member information.
What about my direct deposit?
We understand many members are concerned about payroll deposits.
Although system access has been affected, no incoming deposits have been lost. Sharetec’s recovery process is focused on ensuring all transactions and account records are restored accurately.
Why is restoration taking so long?
Sharetec is taking a careful approach to ensure account information is accurate before each system is returned to service. While we all want services restored as quickly as possible, protecting the integrity of member accounts is the top priority.
When will services be fully available?
At this time, Sharetec has not provided a specific restoration timeline that they are confident in sharing. We know the uncertainty is difficult, and we will continue providing updates as soon as more information becomes available.
Our Commitment to You
Our team is actively monitoring the situation, staying in constant communication with Sharetec, and doing everything we can to assist members during this disruption.
We recognize this outage has occurred during an important processing period, including payroll deposits for many members, and we understand the inconvenience this has caused. Please know that restoring service and supporting our members remain our highest priorities.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued trust in CAMC FCU. We will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.
Sincerely,
CAMC FCU
